Paintings for sale
These two are done by the Otto Klar
Otto Klar was born in Vienna, Austria and came to South Africa in 1939. He studied at the Vienna Academy of Arts and taught art in Pretoria. He painted landscapes, figures, portraits and still lives, particularly flowers, with some abstract works in the mid sixties. Klar established a reputation by his command of oil techniques and descriptive landscape painting. He died a few years back.

The following four were done by Hennie Griesel. Griesel’s magnificent works can be seen in houses and offices all over Taiwan, USA, Israel and France. According to art experts, Griesel who turns 75 this year is delivering his best works ever, despite his high age. Not to be mean, but his paintings are going to be worth a lot more as soon as he passes away.

If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested in these works. Please contact me.

Xobni - Outlook plug-in for managing mails
Xobni is an outlook plug-in that saves you time in searching for conversations, attachments, contact information and emails. Even though outlook has searching capability, Xobni makes it that much easier. You don't even have to change screens and it is very quick.Xobni also shows you the statistics of your outlook contacts. Like what time of day they send you mails, who replies the quickest, who mails you more frequently and how many mails have been sent from and to that contact.
You can use Xobni to fine out to which social networks your contacts belong to, like facebook, twitter, linked in etc. It shows you which contacts are in the same network, by grouping them.
These are just a few of the function that Xobni has. I like this tool, it saves me a lot of time, making management of my mail a lot easier. When I'm tired of seeing it, I just minimize it into the sidebar.
Try it out. Download it here

Send me a poke and go Straight to Jail, do not collect $200
What is the meaning of a poke on facebook, to friends the meaning may differ but the general idea of a poke is to say “Hi”. Strangely enough Shannon D. Jackson from Tennessee got arrest for sending a poke.
An affidavit of the court reported that the protective order filed on June 10, prohibited her (Jackson) from "telephoning, contacting or otherwise communicating with the petitioner, directly or indirectly”
The victim took a screen shot and the authorities acted on it. Jackson’s lawyer said that they are looking into the matter regarding security because it is possible that someone else might have used her facebook account.
If the court rules in favour of the poked victim, Jackson might go to prison for 11months and 29 days.
All I’m wondering is: cant facebook block certain users to certain profiles? Why not after the protective order was facebook contacted and banned the user profile? A lot of trouble can spared if people just sometimes communicate, but i guess all this trouble was caused because people communicated.
Well best of luck to JUSTICE!

BB&D – Barone, Budge & Dominick turns 25
Day-1
I work for a software house called BB&D. BB&D started when 3 minds came together to create a software service that will boast of excellence in the field. The company recently turned 25 and took all the employees and their partners to Sun-City for a weekend jam-packed full of fun and surprises
On Friday evening we arrived at about 4pm, we hastily checked into our hotel room, we needed a change of clothes because we knew there was an 80’s Party waiting for us. Little did we know of what BB&D actually had in store.
We were given vip tags and was told to move on to the monkey’s plaza for pre-party drinks and cocktails. On an enchanting and shaking bridge, with voodoo music playing on speakers the couples walked into a photographer where the first snap-shots of the weekend was taken.
After enjoying a small taste of the open bars and the unbelievable scenery a massive explosion lighted up the sky, leaving us breathless with the sight of fireworks that went on for minutes without end.
After the fire work display we where whisked away to the royal dining room. There we were greeted warmly by waiters and where asked to take our seats. Dinner had began but not without a few surprises. Our master of ceremonies for the evening was none other than Alex-J from High Veld Studio :) We were entertained by artists and enjoyed Alex’s fun notions while we dined on our 3- course meal. The first course was a lovely tomato soup with a lump of ice-cream! (how daring, and hmm how tasty). The main meal consisted of quail in a lovely sauce and our desert was a lovely traditional malva pudding.
After 2 bottles of our endless supply of wine we where asked to put all cameras away as our international star did not allow for flash photography. Well this night surly was full of surprises and they weren’t planning to stop now. Our international star was non other the award wining Johnny Clegg. Johnny entertained us as only a South-African can and we had loads of fun jamming to his tunes. After Johnny so suddenly disappeared we jammed the night away to classic 80’s tracks. After the party me and Melissa parted to the hotel with another bottle of our endless supply, we walked through the arcade and was tempted to dance dance till the revolution comes! Before we knew we found ourselves R20 poorer and unfortunately we had to leave our dignity behind. When we returned the final surprise to our evening must have been the signed Johnny Clegg CD waiting for us on the bed side table.
All in all an unforgetfull night.
