How large is a petebyte?

Melissa recently had a post about how heavy data in a laptop was. Well the largest known data storage size at the moment is a petebyte, and its HUGE! To put in perspective how huge it really is. Head on over to gizmodo to see an excellent example.

  1. That's petAbyte ;)

No wonder some network cables just suddenly 'drop' out of their ports. They must get really heavy once the data start flowing.
