Are you a square?

Facts. Fact is that google-ing facts and doing research sometimes takes quite a while. A new initiative now available as a beta is really looking at search in a new way. If you are using Google Square you will be able to construct fact tables by doing a normal search. The table will allow you to add and remove columns as well as merging results. In essence it is allowing you to build your own result set, it surely is a really nifty way of searching for facts. Head on over to http://www.google.com/squared and give it a try :) but keep in mind, it is still a beta :)

  1. Also worth a look:

Haven't fiddled much with either, but wolfram gave a better first impression.

Wolfram doesn't do everything with live web info, so squared would be better for finding up-to-the-minute info on some topics.
