Adam and Jamie, hosts of the known mythbusters show compared a CPU and a GPU to explain parallel processing. The GPU drew an actual mona lisa drawing by means of blasting paint balls at the canvas, in 80 milliseconds! This video was shot at NVIDIA's NVISION Show.
