What is the future of television? I'm not quite sure but it seems that the next step is for the actual television to know if your watching it. There are many possibilities lying in that regard and it seems that PrimeSense knows it. PrimeSense’s 3D sensing chip allows for the chip to know exactly how many people are watching the telly. Actually it is a bit smarter than that, it knows exactly how many adults and how many children are watching the telly, and it can be applied to enforce age restrictions on channels.
